How To Burn Your Soy Wax Candle Longer

Your 8.25 oz. tumblers should burn about 50 hours–and keep their fragrances for many years. Here are tips to get the most out of your 100% soy wax candles:

  1. Burn your North Peters Street Candles 1-2 hours at a time to provide for even (and longer) burn times
  2. Keep your candles out of drafts
  3. Trim the cotton wicks in half prior to burning again each time. This will provide virtually soot-free burning and will extend your use time. (This also prevents your hand-stamped wax seal from melting, too!)
  4. You may notice what appears to be “wet” spots between the candle and the glass tumbler. This happens because soy is naturally crystalline and expands and contracts with its environment. This will NOT affect your burn time. It is, however, proof that your candles are organic and contain no stabilizers or other additives.
